Mariana Islands and Canada as frequently as you would like. The Unlimited Florida plan provides unlimited calling at any time within the state of Florida.

A: Yes. Bright House Networks Home Phone Service offers affordable international long distance calling plans. A: Yes, voice mail is available for an additional monthly price. You can add this service by simply dialing 611 from your Home Phone Service or your local customer service number.
Q: Do I have any online access to my Home Phone Service?
A: Yes. Bright House Networks is proud to offer you Online Tools, a feature that gives you the ability to access, listen and manage voice mail and other Home Phone features online. It’s so easy to use — all you have to do is log-in and listen, then simply save or delete your messages. You can find Online Tools at mybrighthouse.com under My Account.
Q: Can I use my Home Phone Service while connected to the Internet?
A: Yes, as long as you are using a Broadband connection.
Q: Can I call 911 using Bright House Networks Home Phone Service?
A: Yes. Enhanced 911 (E911) services are supported. In case of a power outage, 911 access and other Bright House Networks Home Phone features may not be available.
Q: Will my Home Phone Service work during an electrical power outage?
A: If there is a local home electrical power outage and your Bright House Networks home phone modem has a backup battery installed, your home phone service will be available as long as 1) the battery-powered backup in the phone modem stays charged and 2) your cable connection is not affected. If you have a cordless phone that requires electricity, then your home phone service will not be available. We recommend that you have access to a corded phone that does not require electricity for emergencies.
Q: How do I know when my phone modem battery needs to be replaced?
A: Please visit the Home Phone Battery Center to look up your phone modem type and view instructions on how to tell when the battery needs to be replaced.
Q: Where can I order a phone modem backup-battery replacement?
A: Please visit the Home Phone Battery Center to order a phone modem replacement battery.
Q: Who is responsible for replacing the phone modem battery?
A: After twelve months of Home Phone Service, customers are responsible for the phone modem backup battery replacement. Visit the Home Phone Battery Center to purchase a replacement. If your backup battery stops working within the first twelve months of receiving your home phone service from Bright House Networks, please call us at 1-888-289-8988 and we will replace your battery at no charge.
Q: How often should I check my phone modem battery?
A: We recommend that you check your phone modem battery at least twice a year.
Q: How can I retrieve my messages faster?
A: PIN SKIP allows even faster access to voice mail messages. With PIN SKIP enabled, simply dial your home telephone number from home and you will be immediately presented with the voice mail main menu. Simply press “1” to listen to messages. To enable PIN SKIP:
- From the voice mail main menu, press 4 for Administer Mailbox
- Press 3 for Login Options
- Press 2 for Fast Login Setup
- Press 2 to change the PIN SKIP options
Q: How many phone lines can I have with my Bright House Networks Home Phone Service?
A: You may have a total of two phone lines. A second line is available for an additional cost per month. You can subscribe to Unlimited Nationwide for your second line if you have Unlimited Nationwide on your first line.
Q: What is a 3-way Call?
A: A 3-way call is the addition of a third party to an existing phone conversation, a feature available with your Home Phone Service at no additional cost. To initiate a 3-way call:
- On your existing call, press the Flash button or switch hook. This will place your first party on hold.
- Upon hearing the recall dial tone (three quick tones and then the dial tone), dial the telephone number of your third party.
- Press the Flash button or switch hook again, and all three parties will be joined on the call.
Q: If I need a service call, will Bright House Networks provide support?
A: Bright House Networks provides complete support for all of the services we provide, including Bright House Networks Home Phone Service. Our technical support team is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, accessible by simply dialing 611 from your Bright House Networks phone or by calling your local customer service number.
Q: Can I view my statements online?
A: Yes. Simply go to Home Phone Account Services to log in and view details of all of the calls made on your Bright House Networks Home Phone, including calls made to directory services and operator assistance.
Q: Can I block telemarketing calls?
A: Yes. Simply register with the National Do Not Call Registry at www.donotcall.gov and your Bright House Networks phone number will be excluded from most telemarketing calls for five years.
